Lino Mendiola represents clients in a wide variety of complex business-related disputes in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. With an emphasis on energy litigation and procurement law, Lino regularly advises some of the largest companies in Texas on contested matters. He is also the lead outside counsel on public contracting and procurement matters for several public entities.

Before beginning his practice, Lino clerked for the Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court. He also won the prestigious Reginald F. Lewis fellowship for law teaching at Harvard Law School for the 1998-99 academic year.

Lino has held leadership positions in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin, A Legacy of Giving and The Texas General Counsel Forum. He serves as the co-chair of the firm-wide diversity committee and is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation.

  • Major Texas Municipality — representation on use of alternative delivery methods, public private partnerships, general procurement and bid protests
