Dallas
2011 Summer Associate Program Dates: June 27, 2011 - August 12, 2011
Each summer associate in the Dallas office’s six-week program receives guidance and support from a partner and an associate who collaborate as a supervising team.
Our summer associates can work in as many practice areas they find of interest, without a formal rotation system. This flexibility creates a diversified experience that simulates what it’s like to work at Andrews Kurth. This peek into our firm also helps new associates make an informed decision about their practice focus.
Assignments and Evaluations
Summer work assignments involve direct participation in our office’s current legal matters. Feedback and dialogue are continuous through interaction with the Recruiting Coordinator and supervising lawyers.
Detailed reviews at midsummer and at the end of the program offer ample opportunities for mutual feedback. Each participant in the Dallas office’s summer program experiences a full schedule of events for networking and fun, and learns what it’s really like to be an Andrews Kurth lawyer.
And because we provide the opportunity to do real, substantive work, we can make an informed decision on which candidates we invite to join our firm.
