California's Carbon Market

Max Williamson will be a presenter for the Environmental Finance webinar, "California's Carbon Market." The webinar will discuss the new carbon market that will be born in California in January 2012, following a decisive vote by the state’s Air Resources Board on December 16. The economy-wide cap-and-trade program will impose restrictions on sources responsible for 80% of California’s greenhouse gas emissions. The webinar will cover expert views on the program’s unique features, the expected pattern of trading, the important role of offset credits, and the implications for other US states.
