BUILDING FENCES ON THE ELECTRONIC FRONTIER (0.50 HOUR)
This presentation explores the emerging common law doctrines addressing unauthorized access to computer systems. It includes a review of recent trespass to chattels cases as well as a discussion of the implications of erecting legal barriers that limit the acceptable uses of public web sites.
