In addition, Monica represents lenders in out-of-court restructurings. Recently, Monica has worked on the Chapter 11 cases of M.B.S. Management Inc., The Bombay Company, Marcal Paper, Solutia, Inc., Kitty Hawk Airlines and Mirant Corporation.
Monica has received a "BV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell indicating a very high ethical standard and a high to very high legal ability. A "BV" rating is the maximum rating for a lawyer at Monica's experience level. Monica was also named a "Texas Rising Star" in April 2007 by Texas Monthly, magazine.
