Andrews Kurth opened its first office in Houston in 1902. Following are directions via main thoroughfares in Houston, Texas:
Southwest Freeway (Detour Route due to the closing of Spur 527 ) – Take US 59 North to the Main Street exit. Turn left on San Jacinto (which runs parallel to Main Street) and take it into downtown. Turn left on Capitol. JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Travis and Milam.
Memorial Drive - Memorial becomes Texas once you enter downtown. JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Milam and Travis.
Katy Freeway (I-10 from Katy) - Take the Smith Street exit and proceed south on Smith. At Texas turn left and proceed two blocks. JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Milam and Travis.
North Freeway (I-45 from Greenspoint and Intercontinental Airport) - Take the Milam Street exit and proceed south on Milam to Texas. Turn left on Texas. JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Milam and Travis.
Eastex Freeway (Hwy-59 from Humble and Intercontinental Airport) - Take Hwy 59 to I-10 West and proceed to the San Jacinto/Main Street exit. Turn left on Main Street and proceed to Capitol. Turn right on Capitol. The JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Travis and Milam.
East Freeway (I-10 from Beaumont) - Take the San Jacinto/Main Street exit. Turn left on Main Street and proceed to Capitol. Turn right on Capitol. The JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the right between Travis and Milam.
Gulf Freeway (I-45 from Galveston and Hobby Airport) - Take the downtown exit, which becomes Pease. Proceed west on Pease until it intersects with Travis. Turn right on Travis. The JPMorgan Chase Tower will be on the left between Capitol and Texas.
PARKING:
Parking in the JP Morgan Chase Center Garage is located to the east of the building on the Travis Street side. Parking rates are $15.00 per day; $3.00 per hour.
The Alley Theater Parking Garage is located two blocks west of JP Morgan Chase Tower on Louisiana. The garage entrance is on the left-hand side of Louisiana just before Texas Street (it is also just before Birrapporetti’s Restaurant). Parking rates are $4.00 per hour; $9.00 maximum per day until 3:00 p.m. and $3.00 after 3:00 p.m.
The Civic Center Parking Garage is located two blocks west of the JP Morgan Chase Tower on Louisiana and Capital. Go right on Capital from Louisiana and the garage entrance is immediately to your right. The large star-shaped blue and white sign is the Civic Center Garage entrance. Parking Rates are $2.00 per hour; $10.00 maximum per day.
