Bill Rappolt

Bill is an Associate in the Energy section of the Washington, DC office. His practice includes the representation of energy industry participants before federal and state agencies charged with jurisdiction over energy markets and their participants.
Since joining Andrews Kurth, Bill has represented natural gas companies, electric generators and independent electric transmission providers before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Bill has aided clients with cost of service, return on equity and other rate making issues. He has also advised energy industry participants on tariff-related issues.
Prior to joining Andrews Kurth, Bill worked for four years as an Energy Industry Analyst in FERC's office of Administrative Litigation. During his time there, he worked on over 40 natural gas, oil and electric matters dealing with utilities' rate making issues.
