Charles was a sole practitioner before joining Andrews Kurth LLP in 2002. He has a 42-year background of trial and appellate practice in the public law area, including condemnation law, representing condemning agencies as well as private landowners, construction law and other public law litigation matters. Charles has served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Austin, Texas, and also was a partner in the firm of Sears and Burns.
