Gogi Malik
Counsel
Gogi has a broad based business transaction practice, including real estate, financing and bankruptcy transactions. She represents clients in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate through mortgage lending and other financing structures; the negotiation and preparation of office and retail leases; and the negotiation and documentation of credit facility and other private debt agreements, including a multi-billion dollar syndicated revolving credit facility. Additionally, her experience includes corporate securities (public and private), asset and stock acquisitions and other commercial transactions, both on a domestic and international basis.
Gogi has experience in loan workouts and has counseled debtors, creditors, committees and trustees in a variety of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. She has handled bankruptcy litigation issues relating to preference and fraudulent transfer actions, automatic stay litigation, lien and priority disputes, and bankruptcy appeals.
