
Marcela Berdion-Straub
Associate
Marcela’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration. She also handles probate and fiduciary litigation matters. She has represented clients in state and federal court and in arbitration in a variety of litigation and counseling matters including energy-related and shareholder disputes, corporate investigations, managed health care litigation, personal injury, will contests and trust litigation.
In her international arbitration practice, Marcela has assisted in representing and advising clients in energy-related disputes administered under the AAA/ICDR as well as the ICSID Convention. She also holds a Certificate in Advanced Arbitration Skills from the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center.
Marcela also has experience with domestic and international energy and real estate transactions. She assisted in advising a state-owned Chinese company in the acquisition of oil and gas assets in Latin America and has assisted in renewable energy project financing.
