Michael's practice focuses on finance, real estate and energy matters. His finance and banking experience includes the representation of both lending institutions and borrowers in commercial financing transactions including syndicated and structured finance transactions as well as negotiation and preparation of financing documents for real estate acquisition, construction and permanent loans.

Michael's real estate experience includes the representation of buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of both raw land and income producing properties, the representation of landlords and tenants in commercial leases, including leasing of downtown and suburban office buildings, build to suit and retail leases and the representation of developers of office buildings, retail shopping centers and electric generating facilities.

Michael also has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of limited liability company agreements and limited partnership agreements and with construction law issues, including drafting and negotiating architectural service agreements, construction contracts, design/build agreements and development management agreements.
