Patrick practices corporate and securities law, representing both public and private companies in matters such as offerings and private placements of securities; mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; securities law compliance; corporate governance; and financing transactions.
In addition, Patrick regularly negotiates and drafts agreements related to the development, use, acquisition or disposition, and exploitation of intellectual property assets. His experience includes representing clients from both Internet/e-commerce and traditional technology business models in intellectual property licensing, software development, supplier and distribution relationships, ERP implementations, and data privacy and security issues.
As a member of the Corporate Compliance, Investigations and Defense practice group, Patrick represents clients in internal investigations, securities enforcement actions and in other proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies.
