Sarah's practice includes a range of financing, project finance and commercial real estate transactions. Sarah represents financial institutions and borrowers in an array of financing matters, including secured lending transactions and workouts of existing loans. In addition, during the recent financial crisis affecting the capital markets, Sarah has had extensive involvement with real estate foreclosures and deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions covering several types of commercial properties, including a hospital facility located in Tarrant County, Texas, an automobile dealership located in Harris County, Texas and several shopping centers and apartment complexes located throughout Texas.
Sarah's experience also includes the representation of buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions. She counsels real estate developers in connection with office, multi-family, retail and industrial projects.
Representative Experience
- Represented Landry's Restaurants, Inc. in connection with a 500-room hotel tower expansion at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada
- Represented Conn's, Inc. in connection with a $375,000,000 syndicated revolving facility led by Bank of America, N.A. and a $100,000,000 syndicated term facility led by GA Capital, LLC
- Represented Briar Capital, L.P., a provider of working capital and commercial real estate financing for small and mid-sized businesses, in connection with a syndicated revolving facility led by IberiaBankfsb
- Represented Wells Fargo Bank, National Association in connection with a $60,000,000 revolving facility to finance construction costs for the development of a new office building by a Houston-based company
- Represented SYSCO Corporation in connection with the purchase of a 54 acre site to house the company’s new warehouse and office facility in an industrial park in Harris County, Texas, and the sale of SYSCO's former operating facility to The Houston Food Bank
- Represented Fuller Realty Advisers, Ltd. in connection with the acquisition of two large commercial office buildings centrally located in Houston, Texas
