Shahreen practices in the areas of project finance, banking and commercial real estate. She has been involved in the negotiation and documentation of a broad variety of financing transactions, including secured and unsecured commercial lending, workouts, acquisition, development and financing of various U.S. wind energy projects, solar projects, chlor-alkali projects, bio-gas projects, power generating facilities, development and financing of LNG regas facilities and financing of “intelligent energy” companies in the United States.
Shahreen has also assisted the firm's Bankruptcy group in connection with a variety of structural and practical financing issues, including lease analysis, matters relating to the Uniform Commercial Code and analysis of fraudulent conveyance issues.
