Andrews Kurth’s Shemin Proctor to Head Washington, DC Office

WASHINGTON DC - Andrews Kurth lawyer Shemin Proctor has been appointed Managing Partner of the firm's DC office.

Focused on energy regulations and transactions, Ms. Proctor counsels clients regarding the applicability of federal laws to the provision of natural gas and oil services, as well as the operation and management of energy assets. She has represented major energy companies, including natural gas pipelines and energy marketing and trading companies in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on natural gas matters, including complaint proceedings, and has represented natural gas pipelines before the federal courts.
