Andrews Kurth Partner Mark Solomon Honored by Texas Bar Foundation

DALLAS – Andrews Kurth is pleased to announce that Mark Solomon, Managing Partner of the firm’s Dallas office, has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.  

According to a statement from the foundation, “Fellows are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.”

“I’m pleased to be recognized by the Foundation,” said Solomon, who also sits on the firm’s Executive Committee. “I look forward to contributing to the Foundation’s mission of building a strong justice system for all Texans.”

Solomon’s corporate and securities practice focuses on a variety of transactional and governance matters. He represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and in venture capital and private equity transactions. His mergers and acquisitions experience includes the purchase and sale of both public and private entities, the acquisition of organizations in financial distress, and the use of Employee Stock Ownership Plans.

Solomon is also a frequent speaker and author on a variety of business and transaction topics. He is consistently recognized by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer in securities and corporate finance in Texas Monthly magazine and as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in D Magazine. Solomon’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club of North Texas and serving as the Honorary Co-Chair of Attorneys Serving the Community.
