Litigator Joe Holzer Joins Andrews & Kurth
February 28, 2000HOUSTON -- Joe C. Holzer has joined Andrews & Kurth as a partner in the firm's litigation practice. He joins a team of more than 50 litigators who concentrate on general corporate and business litigation, handling a variety of complex cases for companies in virtually every industry.
Holzer, who is an experienced litigator, represents corporate and individual clients in various matters including contract disputes, banking disputes, securities litigation, defective design and product cases, legal and medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage disputes, deceptive trade practice suits, employment cases, intellectual property disputes, and securities litigation.
He has successful first chair experience in both jury and bench trials and binding arbitration and substantial experience in appellate briefing and argument before the Texas Court of Appeals, Texas Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.
