Andrew Feiner Joins Andrews Kurth
January 5, 2004NEW YORK – Andrews Kurth begins 2004 with the addition of tax attorney Andrew Feiner in New York. He brings over 20 years of federal, state and international tax experience to the firm’s New York office. Lynne Uniman, managing partner of the New York office is pleased to welcome Feiner to the firm. “This will enable us to offer our clients a full range of legal services out of the New York office,” says Uniman.
Feiner has a general corporate tax practice, focusing on acquisitions, restructurings, tax controversies and operational tax planning. He serves as a tax advisor to several large multinational companies and manages the global tax work for a leading entertainment company. He has had substantial experience in complex debt restructurings and reorganizations.
Feiner graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1978 and graduated Order of the Coif from New York University School of Law in 1982. Following law school, he served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Jacob Mishler, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Feiner is the first lateral partner to join Andrews Kurth in 2004. He is also joined by tax associate Daniel Schoenberg, who has worked with Feiner for several years.
