A&K Partners Top the Chambers Global Guide for "The World's Leading Lawyers" in Energy & Natural Resources
May 25, 2001HOUSTON -- Tim Unger and Michael Fremuth, partners in the business transactions and energy practice for Andrews & Kurth, are among the top lawyers in the newly released Chambers Global "The World's Leading Lawyers," 2001-2002.
Named leading individual lawyers, the firm's energy practice is also among the leading law firms in the independently-researched legal guide, which highlights energy work in the firm's Washington, D.C. office "The traditional base of this firm's DC office has been contentious pipeline work in front of FERC. However, anti-trust work, pipeline projects, and gas regulatory advice now form a substantial part of the caseload." The Houston office was also highlighted in this way, "Recommended to our researchers for regulatory and transactional expertise in oil and gas matters, as well as advice on energy projects, the firm is known for its work at both state and federal levels."
Only the second edition of the Global Guide, Chambers & Partners is well-known for its long-running U.K. guide.
