Nationally Recognized Tax Lawyer Gregg Jones Moves Practice to Andrews Kurth

HOUSTON – Andrews Kurth is pleased to announce that Gregg H. Jones has joined the firm’s Houston office as a Partner in the Public Law section.

Jones is a nationally recognized tax lawyer in the area of public finance. His reputation, experience level and specific areas of focus will further enhance and complement the existing capabilities of the firm’s Public Finance practice.

Jones has been named to The Best Lawyers in America and recognized as a "Texas Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly magazine. He is a frequent lecturer on the tax and arbitrage analysis of municipal obligations. He is a past Chairman of the Tax-Exempt Finance Committee of the State Bar of Texas Tax Section and has sat on the Steering Committee of the Bond Attorneys' Workshop, among other professional affiliations.

Jones earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1976. He received an AB, magna cum laude, from Duke University in 1973.
