Andrews Kurth Represents IADB in 5-year US$65 Million Loan to Panama’s Global Bank Corporation
On January 15, 2009, the Inter-American Development Bank ("IADB") closed on a five-year US$65 million loan to Panama’s Global Bank Corporation (“Global Bank”). The new funds will support Global Bank’s expansion of its mortgage origination portfolio and lending to small and mid-size enterprises.
The US-based law firm of Andrews Kurth LLP and the Panamanian law firm of Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramírez advised the IADB on the financing.
