Andrews Kurth Represents IDB in $20 Million Secured A/B Loan to Banco Financiera Comercial Hondureña, S.A.
(Washington, DC)—On May 5, 2011, the Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) closed on a US$20 million secured A/B loan to Honduran bank, Banco Financiera Comercial Hondureña, S.A. The proceeds of the secured loan will be used to fund the origination of green loans in Honduras for small- and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized corporate entities.
The U.S. based firm of Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB on the financing.
