Andrews Kurth Receives 2012 Diversity Leader Award

(Houston, Texas)—Andrews Kurth was recently recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a leader in diversity. The firm received the 2012 Diversity Leader Award® for demonstrating outstanding diversity communication practices throughout the year.

“We’re delighted to see more and more companies earning the Diversity Leader Award®,” said James Rector, publisher of Profiles in Diversity Journal. “Four years ago about 40 companies were eligible for the Diversity Leader Award®. This year there are 68 companies—a 60 percent increase. The Diversity Leader Award® is presented to companies that share their success stories on a regular basis through participation in Diversity Journal’s special editorial features, sharing news releases, and offering profiles of their leaders. “Such ongoing communication serves as a beacon to others to proclaim their own commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said Rector. “The companies that have been awarded this year have done a tremendous job with their programs and initiatives thus far.”
