The Appellate Record Chosen as One of the ABA Journal's Blawg 100

December 6, 2011
Houston, Texas

(Houston, TX)—Editors of the ABA Journal announced they have selected The Appellate Record as one of the top 100 best law blogs by lawyers, for lawyers.

Now readers are being asked to vote on their favorites in each of the 5th Annual Blawg 100’s 12 categories. Click here to register and vote. Voting ends at close of business on Dec. 30, 2011.

The Appellate Record is authored by Kendall Gray.

"Blogging has become an important, even vital, source of information, education, entertainment and inspiration in the legal community. Whether written by practicing lawyers, law students, judges or law professors, blawgs are becoming more bold, more sophisticated and more integrated into the everyday experience of the profession," said Allen Pusey, editor and publisher of the ABA Journal. "And choosing just 100 of the best from our directory of 3,500 legal blogs is becoming an increasingly daunting task."

When reached for comment in the South of France, Mr. Gray said, "It is very gratifying to be recognized as belonging among the blawging glitteratti. In the wake of all this publicity, I intend to go on hosting an insanely great blawg and fulfilling my duties as the most interesting blawger in the world."
