Andrews Kurth Represents IDB in $20 Million Loan to Banco Bolivariano, C.A.
On May 29, 2012, the Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) closed on a US$20 million facility to the Ecuadorian bank Banco Bolivariano, C.A.
The proceeds of the loan are intended to finance the Borrower’s projected growth of loans to small-and-medium size enterprises in the Republic of Ecuador.
The U.S. based firm of Andrews Kurth LLP and the Ecuadorian firm Perez, Bustamante & Ponce Abogados advised the IDB on the financing.
