Andrews Kurth Partner Cindy Lin Selected as Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 2016 Fellow

February 16, 2016
Houston, Texas

(Houston, Texas)—Andrews Kurth has selected Cindy Lin to participate as a member of the 2016 class of Fellows, a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”

Cindy has a corporate and securities practice emphasizing mergers and acquisitions, private placements, venture capital and private equity investments. Her representation of public and private clients includes structuring, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, advising on federal securities and blue sky laws, and drafting complex partnership and limited liability company agreements. She also has particular experience advising management teams with investments from private equity or institutional investors.

Cindy received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2005, where she was a staff editor of the Texas Journal of Women and the Law and President of the Asian Law Students Association. In 2002, she received her B.A., with honors, from The University of Texas at Austin.

“We are proud to have Cindy participate in this program,” said Bob Jewell, Managing Partner. “She joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations.”
