Andrews Kurth Kenyon Represents IDB in $50 Million Loan to Banco Cooperativo Sicredi S.A.
On November 4, 2016, Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”), acting through its agent, Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IIC”), closed on a US$50 million unsecured A/B loan facility to Banco Cooperativo Sicredi S.A. The proceeds of the loan will be used by Sicredi to finance certain rural activities, including low carbon agriculture, through certain cooperatives that indirectly own shares in Sicredi.
